Fine Art Photographer and Mixed Media Artist
As both a photographer and mixed media artist, my artistic journey has been shaped by the fusion of these two disciplines, unveiling the ways they can elevate and enhance one another. I thrive in defying conventional boundaries, embracing a limitless realm of creative exploration. In my photographic pursuits, which predominantly showcase wildlife, my focus is on achieving a painterly aesthetic characterized by soft lines and surreal colors. My intention is to capture the authentic behaviors of my subjects, transforming these instances into compelling narratives.
Within the domain of mixed media, I lean to abstraction, utilizing bold colors and dynamic movements. My signature technique involves layering colors to introduce depth and dimension to my work, drawing viewers in with intrigue and captivating them. With my abstracts, much of my work draws inspiration from scenes in my everyday life, reimagining the familiar into expressive art. My inspiration is rooted in the challenge and reward of assembling these elements into engaging stories and compositions.
What fascinates me most in a scene is its flow and palette, particularly the seamless blending of layered colors. In photography, I am enchanted by the unfolding stories within the natural world, motivating me to capture them.
My work uses vibrant color and the crafting of unique palettes, infusing my creations with distinctiveness. Through this vivid expression, I aspire to create art that not only tells a story but also resonates deeply with viewers.
