I have been a resident of New Mexico my entire life. The open spaces and unique light has inspired me to do my best to capture this in my work.Two major events in my life were instrumental in my pursuit of painting. I was fortunate to have spent a year in Europe with access to great examples of Western Art. The second event was a sabbatical under the mentorship.of Wilson Hurley, who taught me an amazing amount of technical and philosophical aspects of painting. I am currently a member of a plein air painting group as well as a member of several local and national organizations.
