I have been a resident of New Mexico for my entire life.The open space and special light has inspired me to do my best to capture this in my work. Two major events in my life were instrumental in my pursuing painting. I was fortunate to spend a year in Europe with access to great a western art. The second was a sabbatical under the mentorship of Wilson Hurley. I am currently a part of a painting group ( Plein Air Friends) as well as several local and national painting organizations.
