My hand-made jewelry is inspired by the beauty of nature. My one-of-a-kind fetish necklaces, "Bird on Top of the World” pendants, and fetish earrings use unique NM hand carved stone birds and animals. My large bird necklaces are strung with various stones and often incorporate silver beads, crystals and sometimes pendants.
Many of my designs celebrate the change of the seasons, as well as the return of the sandhill cranes, hummingbirds, and crows. I frequently use Picasso marble roadrunners and cranes, spiny oyster hummingbirds, coral cardinals and more in my work. In between designs, to recharge my creativity, I make wild steampunk jewelry with gears, clocks, seahorses, octopus charms and more. My newest collection, “Asymmetrical New Mexico Critter Jewelry” juxtaposes different birds, bears, and horses. For example, a coral necklace has a large Picasso marble crane framed by sterling Navajo pearls on one side with 3 jet crows framed by Navajo pearls flying chaotically on the other side.
